He bent upon her slowly and kept his hand by hers. His warm breath kept caressing her shoulders as he looked down, his lips curved into a smile. The pleasure was evident from his pursed lips, which smiled with a joy of achievement. She looked up at him, her smiling eyes reflecting the satisfaction and victory of her confidence in his precision.
Well, before you let your untamed brains wander further, let me clarify that these two were preparing for their exams. She was sitting on the chair, reading from the book. However, one particular doubt kept troubling her. And he came like a knight in shining armour to save this pretty damsel in distress before her exams. He bent over her shoulder and looked at the book. He held the corner of the page and flipped it. And there it was – the answer to the question she was looking for. His lips curved to give way to a smile of achievement and she smiled at him in return.
That’s a new-age (love?!?) story folks. “Woh kehte hai na, Ram milaai jodi?” They look just like that – delivered in ‘bundling offer’ directly from heaven. She is petite, sweet, with an air of unharmed dignity. He is stout, macho and a ‘genius’ – according to most of his friends. If she has taken up the responsibility of securing all her friends’ careers, he will soon be walking up the mantle as the head of all students.
